Berenice is a physicist that once fell for the stars of Astrophysics. Being an experimentalist and theoretician at heart, Berenice then chose Molecular Biophysics. She researched cooperative but elusive behavior of lipids and designed nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery.
Berenice's first close encounter with a computer was a PRIME 750. She used it exclusively to scare her mother by running batch jobs to fill terminal screens with infinite error messages and warnings. After a confident start, Berenice used computers in molecular simulations and analysis of experimental data. The Cloud offered new possibilities for Big data, IoT, Serverless - Oh My!
DevOps has become her fascinating playground. Feeling infinite compute power at her fingertips, Berenice automates infrastructure up from the ground. She recently worked on CICD, Platform-As-Service, and evangelizing teams to implement best development practices as a way to use the Cloud more securely and effectively.
Besides the obvious interest of testing quota limits in AWS, she likes unplanned travels and being outdoors, gymnastics - including mind ones, and collecting fine peppers for cooking (mmmm...!)
